Association Breeding Regulations
Dutch Dachshund Club
for the breed: Dachshund
(FCI standard 148)

Principles and explanation of the Association Breeding Regulations  (VFR)

The relevant articles in the Kynologisch Regulations (KR), or the Basis Reglement Stambooms, have been adopted with a majority of votes by the associations affiliated with the Raad van Beheer. Since these articles are mandatory by definition, they are included in black .

For articles with a zwarte and a gray text, the breed club can, depending on the situation of the breed, opt for the black_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5c f58d_of_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_the gray text. If only gray text is included, this means that it is up to the breed club to include this article or not.

A number of focus areas in the breeding regulations have been deliberately included in het zwart , even though they do not apply to every breed. This is to make everyone aware of its importance within pedigree dog breeding. If not applicable, the text in gray can be ignored and it will suffice to state 'not applicable' or 'none'.

For each chapter, breed clubs can increase the weight of articles included in the VerenigingsFokReglement  and add new articles, provided they do not conflict with the KR.

Compliance with the Kynological Regulations is checked by the Board of Directors in the Kynological Area in the Netherlands.

The relevant breed club checks for compliance and ensures enforcement of the Association Breeding Regulations.

All associations affiliated with the Raad van Beheer will use this format: VerenigingsFokReglement (VFR). The Raad van Beheer provides a digital document * for this purpose with the mandatory chapter/paragraph division (as indicated in black letters in this draft). The Board of Directors will in due course check the Association Breeding Regulations on specific relevant points. If the mandatory chapter and paragraph format is tampered with by the RV, it will not be approved.
